UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) tournaments provide tennis players, worldwide, a common scale to determine their level of play. The 16-level scale, from beginners to elite world-class professionals, precisely and reliably determines individual players’ ratings based on actual match results without regard for age or gender.

The Bush Tennis Center (BTC) includes 19 illuminated courts and hosts numerous tournaments around the year, including, but not limited to: Jim Henry Open, Spring Socials, UTR singles and doubles tournaments, USTA doubles tournaments, Courtside Cookout, End of School Playday and much more.
The BTC also provides lessons, clinics, leagues and special events for tennis players of all ages and all levels. Summer Camps are also available to children of all levels, as well.

Bynum School is a private, non-profit school for students with special needs serving the Permian Basin area. Bynum accepts students from the age of 3 to adult.
Local volunteers gather to host a fun-filled day of tennis and dancing through the SMASH Tournament. This year's tournament will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019. **Please know entries are due by Friday, March 22, 2019 at Noon.**
Cost: $200 per player (tennis and lunch included). This cost does not include the dinner and evening dance.
Players must play in the division of the better partner.

The Southwest Oilman's Tennis Tournament (SWOTT) is open to any adult player in the oil and gas industry. This year's SWOTT tournament took place Thursday, Sept. 20 - Sunday, Sept. 22 at Midland Country Club in Midland, TX.
